   Blogger.com is a blog which is owned and controlled by Google. It's settings, template, and background is one in a million.

It is very easy to manage and easy to create and grow a blog of your own.

     How To Generate A Meta-tag To Your Blogger.

Before we I begin this tutorial, I will briefly explain to you what "meta tag means".

Meaning of meta tag

¤ "Meta tag", are those tags which are placed at the <head> of your blog's code; which helps to define your contents/or blogs posts.

¤ Meta tags, also helps Google search crawler to specify your pages' descriptions, keywords, author of documents, of your blog.

¤ Meta tags, helps Google to monitor all of your posts and contents that goes in and out of your blog.

  Let's proceed to our tutorial on "how to generate a meta-tag to your blogger", below are some contents or posts which may interest you to read on:

How to add up a meta tag description to your blog posts

    Steps to consider when generating a meta-tag using bloggerspot.

  Following these steps, it will surely be of guide for you to generate a well qualitative meta tags, for your blogs.

   Step 1: Log in to your blogger.com dashboard.

  Step 2: Click on settings

When you login to your blogger.com, scroll down to settings; then click on basic.

  When you click on basic, then move to "description" click on edit description

  Step 3: Click on edit description, copy and paste your description written in your blog basic-description.

  Briefly give a descriptionof your blog, what your blog is all about; copy out the written description of your blog.

  Click on save description in the description box.

Note: at the top of the description box, you will see "enable search description" you will see the "yes" and "No" botton, click on "Yes".

  Step 4: Copy and paste your site's description to your meta tag generation platform

  Before your meta tag can be effected, you need to generate your own meta tag, using some descriptive tool.

   The Tools that you will need to fill in the generated meta tag wall are:

  1) Description= paste your copied descriptions (that one you found in your settings-basic-description-edit description)

  2) Keywords= paste your meta tag description you got from your search preference settings.

  3) Author= Here you are expected to put your site domain name, but www. And .com in exemption (Example: from www.empresseudorah.com, you remove the www. And .com, what you are expected to put into Author is your empresseudorah).

   4) Robots= you are expected to leave it the way you saw it.

  It is good you note this and let me take you through the rest steps.

  Step 5: Go back to your blogger dashboard, and click on "search preference in your settings".

When you are done pasting your site's description from your "basics" in "settings" as earlier explained to you in our "step 4" above, you will also apply same method to the "search preference".

  All you need to do is to go back to your blogger dashboard, click on "settings" then go to "search preference", click on "meta tags description" edit it ( here you are to list out what your blog is all about).

When you are done editing your "meta tag", copy it and then apply step 4 method, but in this step, you are to paste the copied "meta tag" edition to where you see Keyword= just as you did in step 4.

  Step 6: Click and edit the Author botton, in the meta tag generation platform

  In the Author botton, you are expected to type your domain name in the "Author botton".

  See step 4 for more information on how to type your domain name to the Author block.

  When you are done adding up your domain name, Click on create/or "generate meta tag" to generate your meta tag using the information provided by you from the above "steps"

  Step 7:  Copy and paste your generated meta tag, and paste it into your blogger template html.

   As soon as you've submitted your "meta tag" successfully, your "meta tag" will be generated. Kindly copy out your generated meta tags' codes, then go back to your blogger dashboard; click on "theme", then go to "html" (click to edit it, then search for <head> tag, paste your copied generated meta tag code under the <head> tag), then click on "Save template".

    When you apply/or follow all of these steps carefully, your meta tag will be set, and google search robot will crawl round your sites' contents and your posts or site's content will be published on Google search.
