HOW TO CATEGORIES POSTS IN YOUR WORDPRESS SITE
WordPress is one of the best blogging network, where you can go to create a well defined blog.

Adding up of categories or categorising your WordPress site, is one that beautifies your blog and also makes it easier to navigate through as well as easy to search through.
Here are some steps to follow in other to have a well categorise post
Step 1-: Login to your WordPress dashboard.
As a WordPress user, I recommend that you have a WordPress app, for easy editing of your WordPress blog, you can click here to download app.
And if you do, click on it and go to blog posts, in blog posts go to settings and look for categories.
For the cause of this tutorial, we are working on categorising posts via WordPress dashboard.
Step 2-: Login to your WordPress dashboard
In order to login to your WordPress dashboard, simply type this on your SEARCH browser, www.mydomainname.com/wp-admin
When this is done, it will direct you to your WordPress dashboard . This leads us to the 3rd step.
Step 3-: Click on posts
In post, you click on any of your published posts you want to add categories to, and for the sake of new bloggers, that wants' to categorise his/her first post, should simply click on edit post or go to new post, fill in or write its content and go to settings click on settings scroll down to Categories, click on it and give it a name or a new title.
Next, you click on Parent categories, link it to an existing parent category and click ok or save.
And finally click on publish post.
