Know what Google Adsense Invalid Clicks Is All About And How To Prevent Or Fix It

Invalid click is that click which inflates/or boost a publisher's earnings or even the cost of an advertiser.

Invalid clicks are also clicks which are generated by a publisher, when he/she clicks on their own ads/or on their own site's Ads or when a publisher continues to reload on their site's page, in order to boost their site's pages' impression.

Invalid clicks on Google Adsense occurs also when there's an occurrence of an automated tool or robots, clicking on your account Ads on your site.

It is important to note that; Google Ads clicks should come from a genuine user's interest, and it is highly prohibited for any Google Adsense click, come from a restricted zone/or channel.

There's no tricky method you apply to your clicks that'll not be captured by Google Adsense specialist  (either by humans or by machine/or automated robots).

Also, continuous occurrence of Invalid clicks or Invalid page impressions may result in disconnection of your Adsense account from Google Adsense Program

How To Prevent Or Fix An Invalid Click Or An Invalid Page Impression On Your Google Adsense Site.

All problems, have a solution. Do not panic, if you see Invalid Clicks on your Adsense Account, for it can be prevented.

Below are some listed things to prevent or check or fix on your site contents/or the site itself. If these Invalid clicks or pages impressions continues, do well to contact Google Adsense team for help.

1) Do not click on your own Ads-:

It is highly prohibited for a Google Adsense publisher, to click on his/her Ads. Even though he/she is interested in the Ads on their site or not. You can make use of Adsense publisher toolbar to monitor every destination of your Ads.

Google Adsense team, made it clear that, when they filter all the clicks from your own Ads, they will not ignore those clicks you made on your own Ads to inflate/or boost the publisher's earnings or that of an advertiser's costs. And the penalty for this act is to disable such publisher's account.

So it is advisable to avoid clicking on your own Ads, if you like the Adsense or advert, use Google Adsense toolbar to monitor the location of that particular advert, and go for it through another means, not through your Adsense advert.

2) Use the authorised site's features to prevent unauthorised use of your Ads code-:

Google Adsense team, made it clear that Ads will accrue/or record your Ad on those specified sites of yours, which was registered in your site lists which are seen in your "Site's" link page on your Google Adsense homepage menu. And their system will filter traffic you prefer to remain on your Adsense zone, the reason being that the site through which the traffic came from, is not added in your Adsense Site's homepage.

Kindly go and add up all your site's which you want Ads to run on, in your Adsense account homepage (My site in Google Adsense homepage).

3) Avoid partnership with untrusted or low-quality parties-:

Partnering with other low-quality Ads networks or Ads platform or other search engines as a result of boosting traffic to your site, is not encouraging at all.

If you are for Google Ads network, remain with them.  This act, Google Adsense team tagged as "Purchase Traffic".

4) Understanding your Ads traffic reports:

It is good to understand or know how to explain/or read your Ads traffic reports, for this will enable you to know when changes occur on your traffic source.

You can also break out your Adsense traffic reports into an understandable segment, using what we call URL channels or Custom channels. Or Google Ad units manager.

In order for you to understand your Ads traffic reports correctly, Google has made an easy tool for its publisher's aid, and this tool is called "Google Analytics". This Google Analytic tool helps you as an Ads publisher to understand and breakdown all the traffic reports on your Ads.

5) Double and Triple check your Implementation-:

To ensure that you place your Ads code in areas where you want Ads to show on your site.

Do note that-: Your Ads placement must be in conformation to Google Adsense Placement policy.
