HOW CAN I ASK GOOGLE WEBMASTER TOOL TO REINDEX MY WEB PAGES

Fetch as Google is the best folder for this particular problem. It is safe, fast and easy.

Fetch as Google, is a folder page/or a page in Google webmaster tool (now moved to the new search console) which is designed to re-index Web pages. It is cool, super fast, safe and works on daily basis.

This tool or folder helps Google-bots to re-crawl on those pages which was stopped/or blocked/or hindered from indexing.

This may be as a error (404 error caused by some broken page links), command by search folder in your site's robots.txt file sitemap.

      

No matter the error/or issue on your site robots.txt file sitemap, when it's fixed you can ask Google-bots to re-index your Web pages by simply applying these steps below-:

      

First step-:
Log on to Google webmaster tool /or try the new search console
When logging in, what is required is your Gmail account name (Gmail address), and Password.

    

Note-: "Your login details should be the one made/or used in logging in to your blogger dashboard (the one you used when creating your blog, the blog which you want to request re-indexing)".

      

Second Step-:
Click on the site URL you want changes/or re-indexing to be made on-:

Here you are to click on the website you want to work on at the right front page of your Google webmaster tool dashboard (for an existing Google webmaster tool account owner).

If you are new to webmaster tool, kindly click on the red button which says "ADD PROPERTY", this is seen at the top right corner of Google webmaster tool dashboard.

For new google webmaster tool users, You can submit your generated sitemap on your newly created Google webmaster tool in the sitemap folder.

       

Third Step-:
Scroll down to Crawl button, click on it and go to "Fetch as Google"

  
Fourth Step-:
Go to your blog, copy and paste your page URL to the fetch as Google button

This at first is confusing, but with a clear illustration you will understand it better.

After you click the "fetch as google" button as directed to you in our "step 3", you will see this-:

Fetch as Google,  under it you will see; https://www.yourdomainname.com/----------

What you are expected to do there is to copy your page's URL link/or address and place it in the ------.

    

Note-: "You are to delete https://www.yourdomainname.com/, and paste from search/label/---------". (For example-: your URL page link appears in this format : https://www.catholicdoctriness.com/search/label/daily%readings?m=1, what you are to paste after the /, is search/label/daily%readings?m=1).

       

Fifth Step-:
Click on either "Fetch" or "Fetch and Render"-:

Beneath the URL box, you will see two red buttons-: "Fetch" or "Fetch and Render", you can either request on any of the two folder.

    

a) Fetch-:
Google will only fetch your URL page, without giving you any clear explanation on how it looks like on gadgets/or devices.

  

b) Fetch and Render-:
Google-bots will fetch your site's provided URL page link, at the same time give you a detailed description on how your site page appears/or looks like when people/or visitors views your site.

You can click on any of the two (fetch/or fetch and render), and go to the final step.

       

Six Step-:
Request Indexing-:

Here there are few things to click on or do-:

   

i) You click on Request Indexing-: After Google-bots fetches your URL page, it will ask you to request indexing. You are to click on "Request indexing"

ii) You will be asked to solve a "ReCaptcha issue" (am I a robot).

  

iii) You will be asked to "Copy only this URL/or Copy this URL and it's links". You are to choose between the two, if you click on the first "copy only this URL", this means that google-bot will index only the provided URL.

But if you choose the second "copy this URL and it's link", google-bot will crawl and index the provided URL and all the links found in the URL.

   

iv) When you are done, and your ReCaptcha ticks good, click on the "blue Go button".
